This is compositionally similar to the Nuits though here the spice elements are more prominent. There is excellent richness to the caressing and concentrated medium-bodied flavors that are at once velvety yet powerful, all wrapped in an equally serious and compact yet not rustic finale. Vinous - 2022 Vosne-Romanée Vieilles Vignes, Felettig

The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Village, which comes from three lieux-dits and contains 50% whole bunches, has a light, fragrant nose with violet-tinged red fruit - exactly what you expect from this wine. The palate is medium-bodied and neatly assimilates the stems. There is black pepper-tinged red fruit, quite sorbet-like, towards the lingering finish.
