Allen Meadows' Burghound - 2022 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, Dujac

Once again there is just enough wood present to be noticed but not intrude on the overtly floral and appealingly spicy mix of both red and dark cherry, violet and forest floor scents. There is a positively gorgeous mouthfeel if only average density to the medium-bodied flavors that tighten up substantially as the finish is robust and borderline rustic.
